Future Technicians Programme
Are you the person who always fixes the TV, or helps the family with their tech problems? Are you passionate about live events and wonder how it all works behind the scenes?
We're excited to offer 15 training opportunities and subsequent week long paid placements to Waltham Forest and Haringey residents. During this incredible opportunity, you'll learn backstage skills including:
- Rigging lights for live shows.
- How to operate a sound and lighting desk.
- Basics of looking after a professional working stage.

The training on offer includes:
- A weeks training in a working theatre from a highly experienced professional theatre technician.
- 1 weeks paid placement (London living wage) at a professional venue.
- Opportunities to network with potential employers.
- Tickets to live performances outside the borough.

Additionally, if you wish to further advance your technical skills, the option for advanced training is available, coupled with the invaluable guidance of an industry mentor. Essential Criteria:
- Reliability and punctuality
- Interest in performing arts
- Openness to learning and having fun
- Aged 18 or over
Desirable:
- Some form of manual work experience.
