  • Available exclusively to residents of Waltham Forest
  • Roles Available: Bar staff and front of house
  • No experience necessary: Just bring your positive attitude, punctuality and a friendly approach.
  • Paid Training: 1 day of training to prepare you for the show, at £13.85 per hour.
  • Guaranteed Shifts: 4 paid shifts, with the potential for more if everything goes well.
  • CV and Reference: Use this experience to strengthen your CV and Revel Puck will happily act as a reference for up to 12 months.

There may even be additional employment opportunities with Revel Puck after the December run, both in Waltham Forest and other East London locations. Previous participants have gone on to front of house roles in theatres across London and many also now work at the bar and on front of house at Soho Theatre Walthamstow.

How we assess

We employ a blind application process when shortlisting applications. This means we do not see names or other info and mark purely on answers and eligibility criteria. When interviewing, we assess on 4 criterias:

  • Desire for the opportunity
  • Ability to take part in the programme (turn up on time etc)
  • Relevance to your ongoing career journey (this does not have to be in backstage theatre work)
  • Need

We aim to provide support and opportunities for those that may otherwise find it difficult to access.

Equal opportunities:

We welcome applications from underrepresented groups in the creative sector including women, non-binary and trans gender residents, those from global majority backgrounds, disabled individuals and LGBTQI+ community members.
